I think using the step--or not using the step--gives some weird pressure on the entire thing either way. And led to this happening; I could see how no step might last longer.

(Mostly just use a wet towel to wipe off the seats. The reality is that I have spent more time cleaning the SeaDek with both those products and at those times also cleaned any spots that were on the seats.)
I have thought that it has been mainly caused by my kids jumping around in the boat. My daughter likes to swing from the tower quite a bit--and when she does it, she launches off that setback. I think that step is made of plastic somehow attached to the setback and then the SeaDek is attached to that.

It does look like the integration of the Sea Dek is a fail. The piece is too small and probably needs more support under it. My other thought is people are wearing shoes when they step there and they are kicking that spot and causing it to wear but I'm sure you don't let people on your boat with shoes.
Curious if you're saying that we'd be better off with 303 (or similar) on the material regularly? It seems to me that logic would dictate that the less often that you are putting chemicals or product on the vinyl (vs. just plain water or wiping with wet towels)--the better you'd be.
I think you are more correct in that the SeaDek area is too small and needs more support.

I will also definitely 2nd the 303 recommendation. I have an '07 SV211 that I regularly use 303 on. I'll admit our boat is not used a lot (225 hours) though it is sun exposed quite a bit during the season (which I will also admit is short mid June-mid Sept), but my interior looks nearly new with no rips/tears anywhere.
I agree it almost certainly won't be covered by warranty but it won't hurt to ask. I was out of warranty by a year when my removable back seat broke. It was a bad design with the lower support acting as a fulcrum if someone stepped on the edge and it snapped and then sagged. Correct Craft sent me a new one anyway.

My post was a direct copy from the 2016 manual, which is the year of his boat.
EDIT: Strike that! You're correct! I was looking at the Coastal section of the warranty!
