Gopro mount

Hi everyone,

I am looking to upgrade to a GS model 17 or 18...
I know that 2017 does not have gopro transom mounts..

My question is this:

Are these mounts a simple place to mount the camera? or is there an actual electrical connection?

Does gopro connect to the Linc system via wi-fi? Or through the electrical connection if the mount??

There is no electrical connection. They are just mounts.

Do you know if 2017 Linc is ready or already configured for gopro even if it does not have the mounts?

2017 did not have GoPro integration with Linc.

Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade Linc to be able to integrate GoPro in 2017 Linc system?
