    FCT1 Gen4 vs FCT1 Gen2 Weight

I'm looking at 2007-2013 210s. It seems like towers are all over the place. I previously had a 1994 Sport Nautique with NDT tower (and Wetsounds PRO 80s on it). I would need to fold down a tower to get it in to my 8' garage. It looks like the 2007 and maybe 2008 FCT1 Gen4 tower is a beast. Most state it is hard to fold down alone. Does anyone have a comparison to the FCT1 Gen2 tower in terms of difficulty? I had no issues dropping the NDT tower with Wetsounds on it.

I can confirm that the tower on my '08 with 4 speakers is an absolute nightmare to raise and lower. Minimum of two strong and fit guys to raise and lower safely in my view. I keep planning to repurpose an old spinnaker pole, attach it to my garage and use it to lift and lower, would be a one man job in that case.

If it's an 8' garage door you have some options. Titan tower is much easier to fold as it folds down towards the back. The FCT3 and 4 would be easy, 3 will require an 8' door as the base is taller

Just put a Roswell Aviator Pro on it. It folds forward and has weight assist. Mine is one handed now with 2 REV10's on it.

Thinking about making the Aviator pro upgrade at some point. How is yours holding up as far as rattles/shaking? I still have the factory third gen tower and it seems to rattle quite a bit in the chop.

It is rock solid, 0 rattles or shakes.

My original tower was terrible with creeks and rattles. It probably swayed 6”-8” left to right in chop.
