Yeah, I think that's the one that was hit by a Malibu while they (the Malibu operators) were surfing and not paying attention.
I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.
If we can be of service to you, please contact us anytime!
I saw a vid of someones dock camera yesterday on IG and it looked like the Malibu was doing 20-25 mph straight into the Paragon. Can't seem to find it now, so not sure if that was the same accident.

They (the Malibu) wasn't surfing... they had a lily pad rolled up in the bow obstructing their view. Never saw the Paragon until after they hit it from the reports I read. Video supports that story from what I can tell. ThevParagon was for sale too!
While we all know that nobody did anything with malice-this is terrible...absolutely terrible. The older I get, the more I complain about other boaters not knowing what they are doing; this only makes it worse, I'm afraid...
I said this way at the beginning to couple of my buddies that sell boats out at the dealerships. I said “ I’ll be you my paycheck we see some Aeolus catastrophes this summer with the amount of newbs buying boats and lakes being extremely crowded”. Nobody would take that bet. Add in these massive surf barges rolling through busy waters throwing 4 Ft rollers everywhere and it’s a recipe for disaster . I’ve seen at least a half dozen toons go under With my own eyes , another 8-10 boats on Lake Michigan crash into break walls and another dozen or so mArnie distresses being called in from inexperienced boaters on some nasty water.
