    Replace seadeck

    I am wondering...
We are looking at upgrading our boat to an GS22.... we can't get new for the obvious reason...$$... it's simply crazy... so we are looking at 2018....BUT... the problem we are having is finding the color want...
Seems like when we find one we like the inside always has wrong color seadeck...

Has anyone ever replaced seadeck in a newer model like this?... it's personal but we want grey and black...no mocha... how complicated can it be do redo, and also inside speaker compartments?

How much can a complete kit possibly cost for an 18 GS22?

If we are going to spend this much on a newer boat we want it to have the features we want.... so a few thousands extra is not going to make that much of a difference over time....i am pretty handy...i watch the guy seadeck our current boat... looks really easy...

Simply wondering if anybody would know if the kit is available and approx. how much it could cost?

    Thanks,

I priced out replacing just my swim platform seadeck on a G23 due to scratches and it was over $450 for just the platform. I'd imagine the whole boat will be $2-$3K if not more. Email nautiqueparts.com for the real stuff.

Or reach out to SC wake for aftermarket and you'll have more options.

    Get the credit card ready.

With that new of a boat on the shopping list, I would just be patient and something you like will pop up. Do a wide search. It's easy to have a boat shipped.

SC Wake isn't aftermarket -- it's actual Seadek. That being said, it's a couple grand for any DIY custom Seadek OR to have normal Seadek professionally installed on a 210 (maybe a little more for a 230). GS22 's have an insane amount of Seadek, I'd guess at least 50% more? So I'd think cost would have to follow suit?

And actually, your thought about replacing the Seadek in a 2018 maybe isn't a bad idea. The stuff does get dirty and it does wear. Depending on the shape of the 2018 you're looking at it could freshen it up some.
