Flapper style surf gate for OG 210 - anybody seen or done one?

Currently using a suckgate on my OG210, it works pretty good but, would really want something that is much more integrated and less manual. From what I've heard, surf tabs don't work that well on the OG's.
I'm wondering if anybody has done surf gates or otherwise known as a flapper on an OG210? I'm wondering if a flapper mounted on the transom would even have any affect because hull kicks in at the transon. . I haven't measured anything but, it might have to be super long in order to get past the kick in.
I've searched around especially on DIYWake and nobody has done a flapper on an OG, I've seen newer Nautiques retrofitted with an NSS style but, the newer hulls don't have the kick in.

I thought about it. I think something like flappers on the hull where it kicks in might work. It could never be completely flat though so I’m not sure what that would do to the driving and wake characteristics. I upgraded boats before I ever tried anything.

The Roswell 210 has Go surf Assist on it, maybe someone from their group can chime in. Maybe NautiqueJeff might know also.

I heard mixed responses on surf assist not being all that great for making a decent wake
