Sorry man. No dig intended. I think if you are a returning customer you should be able to negotiate a pretty strong deal. I am not sure about other brands, but Nautique is pretty tough to buy from any dealer other then your hometown dealer. At least it was for me. They hold their margins pretty good, but in the end its nice when you are an owner because you have a little better resale value. Best of luck to you on your purchase, you deserve a brand new G!

Absolutly true, here. Nautique frowns upon dealers selling outside there territory. Things get ugly when dealers are pricing against eachother. Plus, when you need warranty work (theres always something) that hometown dealer is going to be much less inclined to get you higher on the priority list. Consumers have the right to buy from ANY dealer obviously, but know the potential downfall from your decision.

Yes. I have to go 4 hours away for service. I own a lake house in the town I bought from, and it’s a 4 hour drive.

We got our 20 g23 in June at about 21% off the msrp I think it was. It was an in stock boat

And with the various electrical issues we have had over the first 110 hours of use, there is NO way I’d buy from someplace that wasn’t my local dealer. Dealer support is absolutely critical imo

FOB1....curious on your statement here....as you are in Boerne...why you didn't go with Sail and Ski SA or Austin..... but with Dockside in Houston (from your pics in the Show us your Nautique) for your G25?

My first G 2018 I bought from Buxton in Lewisville. I went back to buy my second boat from them and got blown off. It’s all good.
My 2nd and 3rd G I bought from Dockside for a few reasons. I got a better deal, the salesman there Got back in the business and he happened sell me my very first Malibu back in 2006 when there was a Darryl Moore’s marine. They turn my service around next day. They meet my expectations when it comes to service. I also own a home in The Woodlands. I’ve tried to get service at sail and ski before and each time they pretty much told me to go fly a kite. Evidently I don’t understand how busy they are.

with that being said, there is a salesman there who has been there 20+ Years. Mike Dyson. Great guy. Very helpful. Give him a shot if you are ever in the market.

The Buxton manager was rather abrasive with me on pricing for a new G and stated that they were not offering any discounts. This is a departure from what I was accustomed to from this dealership.

Cool...yeah...having the house over there probably makes it easier to purchase from there. My buddy that was at Canyon yesterday bought that 98 Malibu from Darryl Moore's new. We went to the Houston boat show, had a few beers and he bought a boat...LOL. I went with him to pick it up back in 98. They were pretty cool guys. Don't remember the salesman...but I wanna say Tim...but may be wrong. As far as Sail and Ski, I used a different one when I bought my 2015 G, but I do know Mike Dyson. I've had pretty good luck with service there over the years. I'm fixing to order my G23 pretty soon. I'll give you a shout if I'm ever on Canyon and see you. Can't miss that G25!!!

Buxton is good people. I just wanted to make sure I gave them a shot since I previously bought from them. They got my boat in and out for service every time.

Question....for those of you who have ordered or received your 2021 G23's....is the ZZ6 450 included in the 180,202 base price of the boat....or is it an option upcharge? I'm guessing 10K +- if they are charging for it. I thought it was the "base" Standard option in the new G23....as there are only 3 gas engines available and the 1 diesel. On the website, it does show Horsepower 370-600...but when you build A boat....the smallest engine is the 450. Thanks in advance.

I believe the 370 HP is the diesel. Lower HP but big Tq.

Yes...that explains the 370...being the low HP of the range. Thanks

I just got about 23% off but its the end of the season too. All things considered, was happy with it.

How are you guys getting such great deals? Have you purchased several boats from the same dealer over the years? Are you adding all the options? Are you paying cash or financing? I've been begging my dealer for better pricing on my 2021 G23 build. I am stuck at 16% off. What's the secret? What am I missing?
