Similar to what others have already said, but just to reassure you, I have at 2019 GS24, we are in the Finger Lakes region (715’ above sea level). When I ordered the boat I asked for the larger motor, and the salesman talked me out of it. I have no regrets, even with the Pro-Ballast option, I have never felt the boat was under powered for what we do with it (Surf, Ski and Wake board). Would I like it to have a higher top end, yes. Is it worth the extra $10K, absolutely not.

Looking at maybe upgrading the end of next year to a '22 GS22 and adding Wakemaker rear ballast which I think is an additional 900lbs of ballast over the pro ballast. So I would definitely look to upgrade to the H6 engine. We boat on Lake Keowee, SC at 800'.
If you want to sell your '19 GS, pm me some pictures... looking for a GS22b in the right color palette/ option set, but not easy..
