SV-211 Questions - Realistic seating capacity and cruising speed

Looking at some SV-211's. I have not seen one in person so I haven't been able to physically sit around the boat and think through a seating capacity.

What can I expect the realistic, not on top of each other, seating capacity to be on this boat? We would routinely have 8-9 out on the boat with us....6 adults, 3 small children. Stretching the capacity I'd imagine? On top of each other? Is the rear facing 'jump seat' worthless for an adult? Again - haven't had the time to travel and see one in person and sit people around.

Also - what seems to be the optimal cruising speed on this boat? We live on Ft Loudon in Knoxville and frankly love cruising around. I'm hoping to find a boat that will run 25-30 MPH 3000-3500 RPM wise. Just think that's a good sweet spot for fuel economy.

    Thanks in advance.

I have an 05 210, with seating capacity of 10. I routinely have 7-10 people on the boat with adults and kids. Everyone has a "seat" but there isn't much extra room. The 211 is 2" wider ( probably not a huge difference ) but the missing seat at the pass trough is probably why its rated at 9. If you aren't going out for the entire day without coming back in I think you would be fine. We have never had any issue with the 210, but we are on a river and have a dock we come back to for lunch and refreshment reloads. We also grab the lily pad only when we need it, same with the tube or boards. If you need to keep them on board with you all day that will make things cramped.

Depending on the prop you run you can easily be in the cruising specs you have listed above. Mine has the EX330 with a 1578 prop ( surf prop ) and i cruse at about 28-31 mph depending on load at 3500 rpm. If you have a stock prop ( 532 or 644 ) you will most likely be at 3000 rpm for the same speed. Last time i was out with a 644 i think there were 4 of us, and it was like 2700 rpm at 26 or so mph.

I have an 07 211. 8-9 is going to be a little tight, it can be done on occasion but I would not want it every trip out. With that kind of crew I would be looking at 226/236. As for cruising, not sure what data you are looking for but I consistently ride at 35ish around the lake when I do not have someone on the end of the rope. Boat maxes out at 45, depending on engine and prop (I have the small 5.0).
