Do you think 210-230 will have the new NSS ?

    Hey there!
just wondering What do you think about what’s coming next for the 210-30 models.

Some say they may be discontinued (what I’m pretty sure will never happen) But Can be possible With the GS22 huge improvement in 2020. It can easily take the place of the all around entry boat.
Some say they mostly do gonna have the new extended plates for 2022.
because they renewed the GS in 2020
    Renewed the G in 2021
Probably renewed the 210-30 in 2022

    what you all think!?

I think the only way they are discontinued is if their production takes away from other sales that Nautique would rather pursue.

I think the only way they are "renewed" (redesigned) is if the R&D to do it does not put their costs above where they are right now and infringe on the GS.

Like any boat, the costs of development have to weigh against the market. The G has proven to be a hot seller at almost any price point, so R&D on the flagship is an easy decision. Similar with the GS. Updates of the classics will depend on what Nautique thinks will happen with the entry-level group and how likely they are to get people who have never bought a wake boat to plunk down $200k vs $120k. ...Or to get people like me who think a 230 is PLENTY and don't want to spend the money for an upgraded dock, tow vehicle, or both.

I could see future 202X 210/230s getting an updated above the water hull that incorporates some of the design features of the G/Paragon/Ski with some updated NSS/electronics and perhaps some seating adjustments or things of that nature. But I think to preserve what the 210/230s do, there isn't a lot of change available, and especially if the price point needs to stay below the GS.

They did it with the GS. Between 2019 and 2020 nothing changes on the boat itself. The Back of the Hull changed a bit with the new extended plates.
But beside that it’s exactly the same boat.

like you I feel like the 210-230 is plenty enough apart from one thing, the wave.
The price tag from a 210 to GS22 MSRP is nearly 25k.
For me it’s too much for More space I already don’t need and other stuff that are fairly useless for myself.

you put a good point tho, including the new surf system may increase the price tag too much. With less than 10k difference with the GS Almost nobody would even consider a 210.

Just hope they keep the model and fresh it up a bit like they did with the GS haha

I hope they keep the 210, I didnt care for the GS.

I get it though, it is hard to focus on the less expensive model when the others sell so well.

I would love a traditional boat between the 210 and 230 that can ski, barefoot and wakeboard. I am not a fan of the G series battleships. Hope the 210 and 230 keep selling enough to keep them relevant.

I have a 2020 GS22 and my neighbor has a 2019 GS22...................there are more changes than just the port side rear hull changes. The 2020 has the frame less windshield, access through the My Nautique App, taller tower, different upholstery stitching, and different under seat cooler with seadek on top. There may be other things but those are the ones that stick in my head at the moment.
