2021 GS20 or another 2021 210...surf only

I know this topic has been visited a few times but I’ve got to make a decision in the next day or so to hold my build slot for next spring.

I’ve owned a 2015 SAN 210 and 2018 210 (I just sold). I really have zero complaints about the 210. All we do is surf and we have a house on a small lake so a 20’/21’ is plenty big enough, plus I don’t love a ton of people on the boat. I have the surf wave completely dialed in but there a few things I like about the GS. The bow has more room and I like the small rear facing seats. I rode a buddies GS22 a few weeks ago with pro ballast and it seem to have more pop than my boat... not really taller or longer but more pop.

Does anybody know if I will be able to have as good or even better of a wave behind the GS20? I will definitely be adding either 750’s or 550’s to the rear and I have 400lbs of lead I’ll be adding as well.

IMO, the gs20 wake is amazing with extra lead(i had 700#) i dont think extra bags on top of that are really neccessary. I prefer the gs over the 210, especially with the layout advantages in the gs.

Both boats will perform incredible. However I would recommend the GS20. I have a GS20 with stock ballast and the wave is amazing. I am able to switch from toe side to heel side with no problem at all. Sub floor ballast is amazing. I can inagine with lead and pro ballast the surf wave would be incredible. the extra room in the bow is hreat for my wife and kids. plus all the sea dek under the seats is definitely nice compared to carpet.
