Has anyone been able to demo a 2021 G25? Just curious what the difference are in wave characteristics from the G23? In particular how much longer is the G25 wave? I think Nautique made a mistake by not making more ballast available, as I suspect it will need considerably more weight to produce a wave that's comparable in shape and push as the G23...though this is purely conjecture as I don't have any experience with the new hull design. Ballast can obviously be substituted with lead...just wish you could drain it when you're done with it lol.

I've got 80 hours on mine and I absolutely love it. I run a business so I have to keep the wave at a reasonable size for teaching so I just but 400's in the back and I think the wave is great. Plenty of push and you can surf 3ft farther back than with my 2020 G25.
If you look on my Instagram there is a picture of me standing next to the wave and a short video so you can see the wave. It's next to the picture of me standing on the tower.

Hahaha yeah I get that a lot. I just did the PNP myself. Just 400 lbs on each side. It takes up the bottom part of the storage but you can still fit plenty of vests and ropes on top of the bags. It only takes another 2 minutes to fill the bags. And the G25 is easy because it's so long that you don't need to add any weight up front.

Hey guys sorry this took me so long but I wanted to make sure to get everything sorted out... I had to switch to smaller (240lbs) bags because I was laying my vests on top of the 400lbs bags and they would not dry. They were completely water logged. So I switched to the 240's and now I can stand up the vests. Yes the wave is slightly smaller but still plenty big enough for my customers and even me to enjoy.
I also had to disconnect my rear ballast pressure sensors because they kept kicking off the pumps so I couldn't fill the bags.
I used the factory overflow fitting in the floor to go into the bag and then from the bag to the check valve and then out the side of the boat.
I had to use a 45 to come out of the top of the bag to get the proper angle for when the bag is full and when it's empty.
