I just heard some rumors about CC starting an owner share boat club. Anybody heard anything about this?

I have not heard anything about this, and I would be extremely surprised if this was true, but who knows?

I believe there is a club in Utah that has new Nautique for rent to members. On the forum last month, they have G 23, SN available.

Correct. It’s call Inland Boat Club. One buys in (+/- $15,000) and then pays a monthly fee (+/- $500) and you have access to the club’s boats. Most are G23 or G25 SANs. Timeshare for boaters. The boats are stored close to boating venues so long distance towing isn’t needed. Bring the boat back clean and full of fuel.

Thanks Jonny, I knew someone would chime in. I thought I had seen it before on this forum previously.

They have several used boats for sale right now...if you don't mind buying high hour boats that have been driven like a rental.

Man, people will beat the crap out of those boats.

Atleast I would not worry about people spilling food everywhere. And my wife would stop hearing me say 'drip off on the platform, please'. Seems like a win to me.

You've got that right. My son works at the local marina and provides orientation and training to the boat share members. The stories he could tell. People driving right on to the rocks, ramming into the dock, trying to raise the boat lift with the ballast still full, leaving the dock with lines still tied while nailing the throttle with no clue why they are not moving, driving for miles with the engine overheating... Every weekend is full of amazing stories.

A couple of my neighbors are members of the inland boat club in utah. Both of them are trying to get out of it. Their feedback is they dont have enough boats for the amount of people in the club and its pretty hard to get the boats. Ive seen memberships for the club listed in our local classifieds for around half the normal buy in. They actually bought my 2019 G23. I kept that boat in pristine shape and i saw it a month after the sale being trailered on the freeway covered in water spots with the bimini fully deployed.

I’ve seen the boats listed for sale. For the asking price I would have serious doubts about buying a rental.

I am currently boatless, so I have been watching the classifieds pretty closely. Those boats are not being sold anytime soon at those prices, either. They have been listed for quite a while now.

I know a few as well that loved the club last year but hate it this year and are trying to get out. Noticed there is no longer a sign at their headquarters in AF anymore either.

I see a good number of Gs around, I wonder how many of them are from this club.
