LOL. What I was saying...was...that brown looks good with the black..or black accents.....like you said...NOT so much with shades of blue...green...So I was saying tell the others that the black was good....other combos with with brown interior...not so much.

Dealers are not dumb and will order what is selling. For every one person that is not fond of my “**** brown” interior 9 people love it. I’ll Take those odds and am sure the dealers will as well.

My SAN 210 with the bright white seating some black accents, and the light gray Seadeck flooring looks great when clean, but is a PITA to keep clean.
My previous boat had an off-white slightly bronzed/cream color interior which was much more forgiving of being less than perfectly clean.

I had 3 boats before that had white seats with colors mixed in. Pain to keep clean and I don't miss that at all. The white looked dirty after a few years and I was a nut trying to keep clean and protected. I thought that I wanted a white interior till I saw my brown with white and blue outlining colors and I was hooked. White looks plain to me now, but everyone has there likes and dislikes.

I think brown hues look good in many interiors, but my next statement will show my age/conservatism... Growing up, I was told never to mix a grey suit with any sort of brown. As such, though I know it is now commonplace in auto interiors and Nautiques (and looks great in both), I couldn’t personally do this. I’m not ancient (I don’t think at 54), but If I have anthracite Sea Deck, then my interior can include any color but brown. Again, I see more with brown than without; there is no need to submit pics showing such. I get that I’m a stick in the mud...
I went and bought a couple of new suits and other related clothes earlier this year, to include some grey pants (I was way overdue). At any rate, the 30 something salesman talked me into buying some brown shoes as well, and laughed at my no grey/brown rule; of course, mixing these two came from his generation. Given the pandemic, I haven’t worn or had the need to wear these clothes, but don’t know if I’ll ever mix the two, just as I’ll never used to the new meanings of words that have been adapted in the last twenty years. It isn’t a “hash tag”, it is a pound or number sign, period... Signed, the old man...

RDT....I hear ya. I was the same way with the clothes color combo. Also....when was the last time you saw a football or baseball team with Blue and Brown team colors.....is there? Am I missing it......LOL

Agreed on “to each their own.” My original post really was based on curiosity....essentially trying to understand what others see that I don’t? It was also one part frustration because I had found about 6 boats in my search last year that had amazing color schemes on the outside but I couldn’t stand the “all” brown look. As mentioned before, having it mixed in with certain color schemes looks good. I just don’t understand having brown floors and brown seats? Though once more I do agree, it’s likely easier to clean. A dealer did tell me that it usually takes a little longer to sell the brown interiors however. .

I agree with the wannabe Ferrari comment. I had a Mastercraft salesman tell me it’s just like the king ranch interior of an F-150. I’m sorry but it’s really not. My problem is that vinyl isn’t leather. I actually like saddle brown leather just fine. Vinyl that is trying too hard to look like leather? No thank you.
