2020 GS22 NSS update?

Can someone with a 2020 GS22 comment on how much further the NSS plates extend than on the previous models? Is it possible to retrofit the newer version to the older GS22 hulls?

I believe the 2020 GS22 (and the GS20) got the updated hull with some of the Paragon hull design elements and the new NSS plates that extend 4” instead of 2”. The GS24 got the changes from 2019 onwards. I assume these are not backward-compatible since they changed the hull along with adding the bigger plates, but bigger brains on here than mine can confirm
