For those of you that have a '20 or '21 (I believe they are the same) GS22, do you find it difficult to steer the boat when pro ballast is full for surfing? There also seems to be quite a bit of bow rise that I've never noticed on any Nautique before. Thanks for any feedback

How does it turn while surfing? The boat I demo’d was like a tank and not nearly as nimble as my 210'18 SAN 210 Reef Blue/Admiral Blue Metal Flake

I havent noticed a significant difference but keep in mind, most of the act of surfing is driving the boat in a straight line. Once the surfer does down and I throttle down to turn and pick up............I havent noticed a difference in turning.
Overall the boat feels a little bigger to drive but the auto plane feature is really awesome compared to my 210

I spoke with the dealer and i think we figured out the difficulty with steering. We are still trying to figure out the bow rise. Going to demo again tomorrow and ensure the belly ballast fills all the way.'18 SAN 210 Reef Blue/Admiral Blue Metal Flake

We took our GS22 out again this past weekend and didnt have any issues. I can sit in the captains seat and see over the bow while surfing is ongoing. Seems to me that when i was driving my 210 I would have to lift up the cushion due to the bow rise in that boat.

Turns out the valve wasn't open for the front tank so it wasn't filling but shows as 100% due to the timers. We demo'd again on Saturday with a full front ballast and had no issues with bow rise.
The issues with turning like a tank was the tab on the rudder. we adjusted and all was back to normal.'18 SAN 210 Reef Blue/Admiral Blue Metal Flake
