I would say Correct Craft has preformed and done exceptionally well through the pandemic. Boat demand at the highest level ever and supply exceptionally low .

Maybe. I understand that CC had a longer shutdown and bigger supply line issues than other manufacturers. We won't know until they publish how many boats they actually made in 2020. As I understand it, they took a bigger hit, so the supply shrunk, worsening the demand problem. And it shrunk more than other builders. My local dealer mentioned problems like getting boats with things as simple as Seadek and board racks not fully installed.

Nice read from Mr. Yeargin. The true Great recession was, I believe, in the twenties - which lasted 4 years (if I remember my history classes well enough). Unemployment was around 25% or so and the GDP decrease was much much worse than in recession on the mid 2000's, and the mid 2000's was mainly due to real estate over inflation and banks lending to those who had no business borrowing what they did.... Unemployment was up but NO WHERE near the true great depression. I just wonder if all the people who call the depression from the 2000's the great depression even know about the past.. I am in no way trying to downplay those who were affected in the mid 2000's. It was a challenging time for many.

I think you may be confusing the Great Recession with the Great Depression.

The Great Recession refers to the economic downturn from 2007 to 2009 after the bursting of the U.S. housing bubble and the global financial crisis. The Great Recession was the most severe economic recession in the United States since the Great Depression of the 1930s.
