    20/21 Winter Upgrades

    Anyone thinking of doing any cool upgrades this winter? I have some stuff in mind for my 05, but I'm pretty much at the point that any money I put into it I won't be able to get back out. Here is what I am considering;

    Going to Do
Shadowcaster 4 Zone LED Controller ( Found one on eBay for Cheap )
Under Dash Mount for WS-420 ( Found one on eBay for Cheap )

    Would Like to do
LED Cupholders for entire Boat ( $30 a piece, and would need 9 )
Seadek the Floor ( lots of work, I know )
DIY Surfgate, I think it would have to be something like the Malibu system ( Who knows if it will work )
    - If anyone has any input on this one I am all ears. Max Doesn't have a system for the OG Hulls, and GSA/Infinity are expensive.
Reversible Ballast Pumps to dump the stock ones. ( Probably not worth it, but would be a nice upgrade )

Just put FAE exhaust on. Still need to water test it after the 5200 cures. I’m also on the waiting Max’s NSS kit this off season.

I didn’t do much last off season. I was going to just upgrade boats but COVID derailed that. I feel like even if I pull the trigger on a boat upgrade this year I’ll still get my money back for FAE and NSS.

some Guy from Montreal region, who i had to pry and twist to do this for me, cause he made one for his boat which was the exact same model has mine, so he told me he would make one, but had already turned down several people who wanted some....so he is not in the business to make surf gates, + he know sold his SV and is ridding a G21...

So i received some of my To-Do list today. I got the WS-420 Mount, the 4 zone LED Controller, and 3 new impeller ballast pumps. I might have a pretty cool controller for the ballast system in the works, but more on that if it actually works out.

For the new ballast pumps I am trying to decide what exactly to do. I will use 1 pump per rear bag, which will leave me 1 pump left. I have 2 options for it. Run it to the stock center tank, and then have that tank overflow to the bow bag I have, or use the stock pumps for the center tank, and run the new impeller pump to jus the bow bag. I am leaning towards the overflow, but figured i would see if anyone has any opinions.

Also, What's the consensus on plumbing the new bags. should I have them fill and drain from the stock bottom thru-hull, or should I setup a backflow check valve T and have them drain out the stock side drain thru-hull.

Not going to be doing any of this till the spring since the boat is packed away in a storage barn.

                1. Phender Pro mounts
                2. Transom lights

I always thought transom lights were gimmicky until I rented a house on a lake, and they are really cool for night cruises.
