Wow. There is very little usable stuff left on that boat. That's one of the worst I have seen. Engine is already sold, too.

UPDATE!!

So I won the boat auction at $42.00 and paid promptly. and i get a message from the seller.

Seller: "Steve, the $1000.00 price is for the swim platform. What part are you looking for?"

I replied: "I was thinking I would get the entire boat, platform, trailer and everything in the pictures. I was also thinking that it would all be delivered to the address I provided since it was listed as free shipping."

Seller: "HAHAHA"

Seller: "As soon as I can figure out how to refund you your $45 it’ll be on its way"

I replied: The listing is clearly for a 2007 Super Air Nautique. Condition is for parts, which I am ok with. You list the swim platform is not damaged, and there are many other parts.

No where is it listed that the buy it now is for the swim platform only. No where does it say that you are not selling the entire boat. No where does it say trailer not included. You do state the motor is already sold. I'm ok with that.

Where is my mistake here? Look at your listing, its not my fault you don't know how to list things properly.

I am not interested in a refund, I am interested in getting what I paid for. If need be we can work something out for me to come get the boat, but it better be on the trailer in the pictures. "

File a dispute with eBay. I'd expect the boat and parts listed. I would not expect the free delivery. One to watch.....got my popcorn and lawn chair out.

If I had to guess I would bet that he thought someone would bid this up to about $5K so he could unload it. When it didn't he panicked and is now trying to back out.

I guess it's possible he was trying only to see the platform but it that were the case why not just remove it from the boat and skip all the other pictures?

I was watching this one Ebay and I fully thought the sale was for everything with free shipping.

The seller doesn't know what they are doing or is just trying to scam at this point. I'm interested to see how it ends now...
