Adding "Walk-thru Step" on Rear Bench Seat???

Curious if anyone has upgraded to a newer rear bench seat to gain the step or reupholstered and somehow added the step to their existing rear bench seat in the older model boats that have the "first gen" rear bench seat?
I have a 2013 G23 and would love to have that "walk-thru step" that the newer G boats have. 7 yrs. of stepping on the back of that folded bench seat has put some stress on the vinyl. It's not ripped or anything bad. Just stretched some over the years and the material has "rolls" in it right where everyone steps on it. I definitely see why they added that step to the newer seats.
If you upgraded. How did you go about getting the newer seat with matching upholstery, Seadek, etc.?
If you added it. How did you get all the needed parts from Nautique to do it? Or did you custom build a step?

    Thanks.

Infinity did the most extensive conversion as you described. Although his boat is a Centurion, the process of the seat conversion is similar to what you are trying to accomplish.
