    Rubrail end caps

Anybody know where to get the black plastic rubrail endcaps for a 95 ski? One of mine is missing and looking to replace it while I repair/replace the rubrail.

Those may work. I'll swing by the boat tonight and take a picture. I looked through all of my pictures of the boat and couldn't find one of the end cap.

Finally got by there. Starting pulling the rubrail off to refurbish and took a picture of the end cap. This is the starboard side and I need the port as it got clipped by a ski rope I suppose.

Yeah that one's going to be more of a problem unless someone has a lead on it that I'm not seeing. Is that aluminum or stainless? You could probably have a machine shop make one but it's going to cost. If it's aluminum you might be able to get some bar stock and make one yourself. Going to be challenging unless you move to a different style for both sides.

That part is some form of plastic. I can design one and have it made but it won't be cheap as you mentioned. I wonder if the metal ones on nparts would work?

If you can model it, I would think it wouldn't be that expensive to have sent out for printing. Or find someone in your area who has a printer. I would think an ABS print would be right material....maybe nylon. I'd offer but I'm only setup right now for PLA and that won't get the job done.....

Thanks for the offer. I have a printer at work I can use but I'm in the same boat as you as far as filament goes. I'm going to see about having it printed with SLA nylon or abs. That will help with the look as well since they can print so much more detail.

Can you please tell me if you ended up finding end caps for your 95 SN? If so, where? Or an alternative & if you’re happy w/ it & what is it & how to get that? Thx!

… & can anyone give me the dimensions of the current Nautique rubrail end caps #4917, please? (in the case I can’t track down original ones for my 95 SN). The originals have the slant angle towards the rear, which gives a clean look w/ the line of the rubrail & the hull.
