Project boat listed if anyone is interested. Looks like floors and stringers were already replaced. I have no affiliation with this boat. Just passing it along https://www.ebay.com/itm/38530516932...Bk9SR_LK-MymYQ

Every time I see one of these boats I think about the ski shows they used to have here in Florida growing up at Seaworld and Cypress Gardens and the Owners reunions. Good times for sure
Watched video. Looks very clean but there sure were a lot of "I know nothing about boats" disclaimers. The engine does not look original at all and I am guessing rebuilt and repainted. The trailer is missing grease cap cover, the lights are different and the only reason I mention this is that he talks about OCD owner and all original. The throttle housing is pitted. I have never seen that old a boat without some evidence of drying out of the interior or cupping of the windshield plastic trim. Interesting how a dead owner with a stored for 2-years boat has 2023 registration on the hull. I bet Jeff can debunk this as NOS boat
.
Yeah, IDK about this one. Looks like your typical old saltwater boat to me. Like we say up here..... "how much do you want for that $500 boat". That's about all that boat would be worth up here anyway. You'd have wayyyy more into that boat than you would ever get out of it by the time it was back in the water IMO. But interesting to see, right?
Wow, someone cut (hacked) those out of the side of a boat, and then put a price tag on it?
Ingenious use of resources, I wonder what the remainder of the boats looked like, after they ran into the large rock..?
I have been in touch with that guy about the 6L engine. It is out of a G23, and the exhaust corners failed. I am assuming it was used in salt, since it is a Coastal, and the corners failed. He says it runs well now. He wasn't able to provide the hours, but was supposed to get back to me with that info later.
He told me he wants $8,500 for the engine, or $12,500 for the engine, transmission and v-drive.

Maybe. We don't know what tune it has, or if it is a 409 or a 450. i assume it is a 450 since it was in a G23, but there is no guarantee without him confirming. And it is a Coastal, too, so that's a plus.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss, but am I the only one that doesn't know what an exhaust corner is? Oh, and how do they fail. Not a fan of the words fail & boat in the same sentence, lol.
I am puzzled as well (corners).. And you are right, fail and boat are not a good combo... That said, I wonder if this would be a good motor trans v-drive replacement for a 2008 SAN..
