Our friends over at CorrectCraftFan have a thread where they list all of the interesting boats that they find for sale. Since people are also posting those things here, I figured I'd start a similar thread here so they can all be in one place. If you find an interesting item for sale that others may be interested in, please post it in this thread.

The plan with my current boat was to hold 1 season, enjoy then sell. Rinse and repeat the cycle for the next 2 or 3 boats. The idea being to buy boats that were less than 10 YO that needed some extra care to bring them back to excellent condition, use them, then sell them for break even or hopefully a bit better. More of a hobby thing than any for profit type of thing.
That plan changed last year with the vid. I had gone through the boat really well and added several features/options to make the boat more usable and attractive during the 2019 season. By fall the boat was well sorted and ready to sell. It looked absolutely stunning and everything was working flawlessly. I had typed up the ad I would use and started sending out feelers to see if there would be interest. Even talked to a couple dealers at the 2 boat shows that were held just before the lock down in late February about a possible trade on a couple of their "problem child" trade ins. Next thing I knew we were locked down in March to "flatten the curve" and selling now would not be possible or at least in this phase it would be very difficult. By June we were so limited in activities that were permitted (hard to believe I'm actually saying that) by our idiot governor that the boat would become the ideal place to actually do something that was marginally legal to do. The boat became the hot spot for covid relief. We used the boat every weekend and sometimes once or twice during the week. By the end of the season we had put more hours and vastly more time on the boat than we had the previous 3 seasons together. We spent an incredible amount of quality time not only with my immediate family but with our close friends and extended family last season.
So now here we are with part two of this mess. Everything is telling me to sell, sit the season out and buy this fall or next spring when my senses are telling me we'll see the posers leave the scene. I've already scene some year old boats hitting the market and a couple boats on the lake come up for sale that I know were bought last season. Problem is that I fear an uprising among the troops at home if I sell and can't come up with a replacement. In my earlier years I would have sold last season or this season for sure and used the profit to buy the next "better" boat when it came my way. Now a days the time with friends and family mean more than turning a buck and I'll hold to see if we have a repeat of last season or if things go back to pre-covid norms. If the hours drop by the end of June the boat will go on the market. If not I'll enjoy the season and not worry about money.

I have at least 4 good friends that have sold their boats in the last 3-4 months, and every single on of them regrets in now. 2 Said they were going to put pools in. I told them pools are 2 years out, and they didn't believe me. 2 Said they would wait till now and use the profits to buy something else. Neither can find anything better than what they had for a comparable price. They asked if I was willing to sell mine since I might have the wood boat done. answer is NO, well at least for what they are willing to spend.
Just my .02, don't do it. Yeah you can make a few bucks now, but you will miss an entire season of fun. No money can replace that.

I agree with everything said here, that boat saved mine and most of my friends and families sanity last summer. We actually made it into a newspaper hit piece about âsuper spreaders boat parties†referencing people tying up at the party cove haha. it was like 105 degrees outside and as open air as anything could possibly be. Id have to verify, but I believe we put about 150 hours on the ole 220 last season.
