Right. I don't know what stuff's worth these days...I guess if you get the $$, that's what it was worth. That said, seems like the crazy prices are slowing down...maybe because it's the end of the season or maybe we are just exiting the bubble. Listings that would get posted and deleted in hours or days now seem like they are staying up.

I don't think that guy will get $40k for his boat. For the right party, I think it's about a $30K boat.

I agree with the above. There have been several of the over the top boats that are not selling including the 2012 200 I mentioned. I wouldn't mind taking my time to find another boat but the family would revolt if I didn't have something by July. Finding something acceptable, even a work in progress that the family would be willing to live with wouldn't typically be a problem but these days IDK. $40K right now doesn't buy you much, at least in terms of something that doesn't need a $7K or $8K interior and another $4K in upgrades. If I'm all in at the low to mid 50s for a 08 - 09 boat why bother.

Anyone come up with a method for pricing boats in this market? So far to me it looks like list with stupid asking price and see if anyone bites.

I think that’s basically what it is, but like SilentSeven wrote, the end of the season seems to be increasing supply a bit. According to OnlyInboards recently sold listings, three 2015 Sport 200’s sold in August for 80k (40hr, 409), 80k (165hr, 409), and 79k (230hr, 343). You have more hours, but you’re also a year newer. Based only on those, and assuming those are honest, I’d think you’re in mid-70’s territory.

Didn't know you could pull the previous sales numbers.I kind of figured I needed to be closer to $75K based on what I'm seeing with other boats. $80K would be nice but I have higher hours and the 409 option is a beast, probably had Link as well. At $75K I'd have to sell and take my chances.

Saw this Tige on Minneapolis Craigslist. $35K for an '02 Tige? Has it seriously gotten that bad?

A few of my favorites:

1) "Like new" One of my pet peeves. Sure, it looks nice, but it is 20 years old. There is no way it is like new.
