Board Rack Cover Buying Experience and Discount Offer.

First, I am not associated with SpeakerSox in any way but I need to pass on my experience with Jim at SpeakerSox. I contacted him yesterday morning to buy a set of rack covers for the strapless racks on my GS. He offered me an upgrade and discount from the price on his website. He said he had some in inventory with the white embroidery logo and would ship them out that day. I asked if he had any with a red logo to match my boat. He didn't have any in inventory but said he would try to get them done and still ship yesterday. I got an email from him at about 8:00 pm that said he got them though the shop but missed the shipping time and he sent me a picture of the package with the shipping label on them ready to go out today. One day service on a custom order!!! You don't get that kind of service very often in todays world.

All - I'm compelled to comment on this as well. Like the folks above, I'm in no way associated with SpeakerSox, and in fact never ordered from them until this week. However, they have a customer for life now. I ordered speaker and wake rack covers based on the recommendations on this forum. I reached out to Jim with some questions, and he was fantastic - prompt replies, knowledgable answers, and he upgraded my entire order! I had some cheesy inespensive covers on my last boat, I think it was an Ebay find. Excited to keep the bugs and crud off, and save constant cleanup of gutts and carnage.
I think my feeling good about saving money lasted me about 100 miles down the highway, so much for that idea.
Bored and feeling like the boat hasn't had any attention for the last few months, I felt like it was time to start hound dogging some new (better) covers.
Reached out to Jim @ SpeakerSox in an email, he got right back, and just needed to clarify my speaker size. Saved a few bucks with a Planet Nautique mention, and they were on my door step 3 days later. I think all in with racks and speakers with the thicker material was right at $200. They seem quality, and super secure, I don't these are going to float off into the ditchbank. Not affiliated with SS, Jim was very helpful, thought it worth a mention.
