Just bought my first boat. A very clean 06’ air sv211. Im looking for general info on routine maintenance, and things to watch for. The only thing ive found so far is the 4 polk tower speakers do not seem to work. Is this common? Thanks in advance

The basics you should understand if you want to do yourself or pay someone to do:
Oil changes, end of season or at 50hrs
Check transmission and vdrive fluid levels and change tranny at 100hrs
Winterizing it: all water out of engine block, vdrive, ballasts and heater if equipped
Replacing impeller and always carry a spare
Keep it clean, let it dry out after using it and it will last a long time.
Change fuel filters every few seasons or so.
Those will get you started I believe
Oh, and if you use your trailer regularly or take on longer trips, don’t neglect it either: grease bearings and moveable parts, keep tires aired up and check bunks for wear/rot.

I wouldn’t worry about the stereo right now. Leave it off. That’s a lot of boat for your first one. Just get used to driving it loading it etc. we are here to help. Congratulations on the boat purchase by the way. I for one think you made an excellent choice!2006 SV 211 (Sold)

Agreed. I bought my first Nautique last summer, an '07 SV211te. We love it.
FWIW, my Polk tower speakers work well--I hope I didn't just jinx that! I've spent enough on upgrades for now.

Inspect and take care of your trailer. Tires. Brakes. Grease levels. Bearing buddies and oil seals. Preventive maintenance is key. There is no better way to ruin a nice weekend than to have a bearing failure on your way to play. Don't be that guy parked on the side of the road fixing your stuff.2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)
