    GS22 Color Scheme Dilemma

So I'm ordering a GS22. It's nearing the time to finalize the color scheme. I am extremely torn about something and hoping to get the opinions of neutral parties.

The question is to get a lower deck in metal flake or not.

The boat is going to be admiral blue on the outside, all the way around. The forward stripe, accent, and rear stripe will be admiral blue with metal flake. Should the lower deck match the stripes, or should it match the upper deck?

I understand this is a preference thing, but since I can't really see the difference in person, this is a huge investment, and I'm nervous about it. Getting the metal flake on the lower deck is also an up-charge, but in the long run that will matter little if it is the right thing to do.

Here's the "design your own nautique" with the lower deck in metal flake:

I kind of like the lower deck in metal flake. Either way, it'll look good, though. The lower deck will be in the water, so it won't be that visible.

If the lower deck is in the water, we've got more severe problems than a coloring dilemma.(it is the area just above the bumper...the lowest part of the deck).

I would personally choose the first design "with the lower deck in metal flake." I think the blue with the gold chromax will look great!

I think I prefer it with it on the lower deck. If you were to have the non-flake a different color like white or grey or something like that I'd say without, but as designed I'd say with.

Top one is better in my opinion.

I don't think you can go wrong. My personal preference is the bottom, without. Something about the deck and lower deck not matching looks odd to me. The rub rail breaking up the colors seems more natural.

Having owned a GS22, you want the metal flake on the lower deck. The metal flake below the rub rail is mostly out of the sun, and does not glimmer. Without it on the lower deck, you may as well not pay the premium for metal flake, in my opinion.

My vote is for "Full fleck...on the deck"....Flake didn't rhyme with deck....LOL. You want the sun to light up that metal flake. I choose option "with".

I deleted my original comment, but I still like the top one.

I’d say for for metal flake upper and lower. We’ve got Admiral Blue Metal Flake upper and lower with Tungsten stripe on our ‘20 GS22 and love it. These are not the best pics but it looks awesome in the full sun!

I'm another vote for metal flake in the lower deck. My 2021 has lower deck in anthracite metal flake for reference... It catches the light!
