A 2007 211 TE finally arrived at my local dealership (they had been sold out of 2006 211s for a while) and I got a quick ski in. I finally believe the CC cross-over marketing hype. It is a very nice wake for skiing and the boat has a nicely thought-out layout.
After digging around the boat I became concerned about performing the maintenance. Living in NH you do not want to leave water anywhere in the systems for it will surely cause problems in the sub-zero winter temperatures. The engine access is significantly limited too compared to the direct drives. Does everybody have their maintenance performed by the dealership? Or should I have them walk me through the oil change, transmission fluid change, filter changes, water drains, etc. before I drive away with the boat?
Secondly, the drivers swivel seat has little room to swivel. I needed to move the throttle all of the way forward to get the seat to swivel 90 degrees. I would have preferred to get the seat to swivel further. Is there a trick to get the seat to swivel further? And is it necessary to move the throttle to swivel?
Thanks guys!
