Notchy Rudder while surfing? (2021 G23)

We've noticed that while ballasted up the steering has some distinct "notches" where it is hard to turn and then "breaks" free. Is there something wrong with our boat or are they all like that? We have about 25 hours on the boat to date...

I would check your trim tab on the rudder and make sure it's tight. You are possible feeling the trim tab slip.

i know of two boats doing it, mine and one others. Turn the battery switch off and back on and it instantly fixes it. i hope Naitique is reading this and has an update. mine started around 18 hours.

Your electronic steering helm assist needs to be recalibrated. It's out and that's why turning off the batteries resets it. You can also just turn off the ignition (leave only 1 blue light next to START button) and that will reset it.
