I don't understand? Are you regretting having the Paragon now that the normal G has a similar tower?

Yea, but a loaded G with the new tower specs out at about $285K. With the modest discounts available now that boat is still about what one paid for a Paragon in 2020 and it still doesn't have the interior, dual displays, and lounge seats. I have no problem with that progress.

Understood on all counts, but it was advertised as having exclusive features, most of which, one can get as an addition to the G now; some of these, I might’ve not gotten and just ordered the G with select stuff. Lastly, don’t let anybody confuse the fact that the Paragon is built in the same assembly facility as the bottom level boat (I won’t single one out) offered by them. I’m still having as many (actually more) issues than I did with my 2017 G23. When I pay this kind of money, I want vastly better QA/QC. Unfortunately, I have all manner of issues that have got me in a bad mood when I think about this thing. In short, exclusivity of features and top notch detail/fit and finish were advertised. In reality, it is the same build issues any Nautique has. The same dude has a rubber mallet hammering in X-Mas tree fasteners for upholstery, etc. for any of their boats...

Not excited about the cosmetic direction Nautique has decide to follow. New standard tower is fugly. The telescoping tower has great function, but is also cosmetically challenged. I realize beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But I will wait for generation 4.

Vision.... I thought the exact same thing when I saw the new standard and power folding Tower. I’m one of the ones thats actually glad I got a 2021 instead of that fuugly tower on the 2022. The telescoping tower isn’t too bad but it looks like it won’t go low enough to fit in my garage so that’s a dealbreaker right there. As far as the extra ballast.....oh well...this non-pro Wakeboarder and surfer can live without it LOL.

When I first saw the new telescoping tower I couldn't immediately put my finger on why I don't like it... it's because it's 2 piece not 3 like the Paragon with different color schemes. And a G23 optioned as close as can be to my P23 is still almost $280k and does not have the ability to get the same interior, wake subs, or dual screens. Not to mention the price of the extended shades went up like $300-400 each, and for what?

Exactly. I guess I'm a little slow since I had to Google the worked "Fugly" since I had never seen the word until this thread. Now that I know the meaning of the word "Fugly", it does adequately describe the appearance of the 2022 tower designs.

It is the upper horizontal V in telescoping tower that I find unattractive. Looking from the side, even with tower, it is not bad. But any other angle, or with no bimini, wow is it ugly. First time I saw it in person, I was surprised by its appearance.
