Ok to tow tubers from this? (Anchor point?)

    Hi all,
I thought someone referred to this as a hoist point as well as the loop in the front of the boat?

The way this is mounted in the boat it looks like would be strong enough to pull tubers skiers whatever. But I wanted to ask is it considered a good reinforcement point for water sports stuff.

I removed my ski pylon and put a cap in to fill it.

Tubers don’t necessarily need to be pointed up in the air from the flight control tower lol

Sorry should have been anchors under the swim platform.

Doesn't the manual speak to tow points? That's where I'd start....

Yes it's ok to tow tubers on this. I have done it multiple times (3 person tube) but I wouldn't recommend it because usually the water from the propeller splashes up and gets in the way of the rope which splashes water all over the place and tough for the tube to go side to side/wake to wake. I have towed from my tower (2011 SANTE) and have had no issues. Have several buddies also with similar boats with no issues. The towers these years are built like a rock and the torque is no problem. I have read many posts about not towing from the tower, but they don't really mention incidents rather just say they wouldn't do it. Towing from the tower gives the tube a lot more air when it hits the wake and easier to get the tube outside the wake which is really what tubing is meant for, right? I think as long as you aren't towing two 250 lb men at the same time, you will be just fine from the tower. JMO

Ha! ha! We've towed THREE tubes at the same time from the tower. These boats are very, very solid. It's not a problem.

I've heard the stories about "cracked towers from towing a tube" and yet, nobody has ever posted a credible photo of a tower or gelcoat damaged this way. Someone did try to pass off a freeze damaged tower once as a crack from pulling a tube. It was a nice try.
