I progressed more in my first 2 days on that board than every session prior. Jonathan is the man and truly cares about the products he makes. You won't regret going this route.
Did you get the rtr? Or get a custom board from Jonathan?

I have a voodoo. I can’t remember the size and it’s at the lake otherwise I’d look. I’m 6’1” and was 270. Down to 250 now and I have trouble keeping it off the back of the boat. (2020 g23 with 800lbs lead and full ballast). Maybe 4’8”?

From start to finish , how long did it take to receive board 6, 8 weeks or longer?

I have a voodoo 46. I just change my stance when the board feels "too fast"

GMLIII I paid for the 6-7 week lead time and it came in 6.5 weeks. You can pay extra to have it made in 4 weeks or 2 week turnaround. Its $1500 for 6-7 weeks, $1700 for 4 weeks or $2000 for 2 weeks. It includes 2 sets of fins and whatever grip pads you want.

John Akerman, Jodi Grassman both have posts stating this and if you watch all there videos of surfing you can tell its a steep wave, most SKIM style surfers prefer it steep.....
I myself prefer the surf at 5 on my 2021 (with midship sacs installed) but i certainly aint no pro!!! Your kid rips! but i bet hes also a lot lighter than most of us recreational surfers and doesnt need as much push.... my 10 year old daughter surfs at 0....

I also run more ballast than most in a 2021 g23, as i installed 650lb sacs in my midship cavities. I have my wave dialed in and bet you would love it, i may not be a pro surfer but i can create a pro wave.

100 lead in bow, 100 lead under port observer seat, factory bow ballast 100% (750) rear factory 80% (600 ish each side) midship additional ballast 90% (600 ish each side) driver and a spotter sitting on port side observer seat 11.4 mph surf at 5, wave is money.
Can you please explain in detail the 650lb sacs in your midship cavaties? I have been looking for a way to do this and thought it was not possible. Please give as much detail as you can.

Found your information in the “1,450 Pounds More Ballast in 2022 G23 & G25!“ thread. More pictures would be great.
