Nautique Releases New Boat - Super Air Nautique S23

    Official Nautique Press Release:
Orlando, FL (August 2, 2021) - Nautique Boats is proud to announce the launch of the brand-new Super Air Nautique S23. A completely new model, the S23 is an ultra-modern take on the traditional bow Nautique. Offering an aggressive new hull design that delivers unrelenting performance unlike anything else in its class, the elegant lines and smart design of the S23 add a level of luxury and intuitiveness that is unmatched in its class.

Enhancing functionality while providing Nautique’s proven, world-class surf waves and wakeboard wakes, this first iteration of the brand-new Super Air Nautique S-Series gives a subtle nod to the past while looking boldly into the future. Add that to the infamous Nautique standard of quality, high-end refinements and wide array of optional features, and the S23 is ready to be enjoyed precisely how users spend their days on the water.

“I am thrilled to welcome the S23 to the award-winning Nautique line-up.” said Nautique President, Greg Meloon. “We’ve introduced many significant upgrades to our product offering this year, and I’m excited to bring the S23 into the fold. With its modern aesthetics and world-class performance, I’m eager to see the S23 turn heads this summer as the first installment of the brand-new S-Series.”

$115k for the 230 -> $150k for the S23 is quite the leap.

I agree, but I don't think they were trying to just redesign the 230. I think they are trying to offer a traditional bow on a G, or GS at least, capable hull. This is in line with what other manufacturers offer. $153 makes sense in that scenario. I was kind of on the fence on this one until I thought of it that way.

Interesting to me that it seems to be a completely new hull and top deck... I really anticipated it being just a change to the bow, which at first glance that's all it is. The beam is 2" narrower, less ballast, different v-drive ratio, no underfloor cooler or access to the bilge, even the windshield has a different shape looking down from above. I do like there seems to be slightly more cushion area on the sunpad redesign. I'll have to see it in person for sure to decide if I like the looks of the bow... I was finally getting used to the G23 bow shapes with the latest renditions.

Can't say I like them getting rid of the 210/230 hulls, but I understand the potential reasons.

I really thought it was going to be a lower price point boat with a newer hull design and I guess it is compared to the G series now, but I do like it,
quite a bit actually. I wonder what other S models will be following shortly.

Pretty interesting boat that slots nicely as a lower price option to the G. Im not sold on the look of the bow but thats subjective. Have to assume a 21 and potentially 25 will follow shortly?

I think this looks like the short bus version of a G23. I’ll be keeping my 230.

That looks exactly like your profile picture at the 0:25 mark, just a different color hat. I assume that is you? Or you have a Nautique doppleganger.

If it surfs like a G, this is a home run. I love the G bow space, but could do without it if the price was right. Currently, a G23 is priced out of what I want to spend, but a big deep boat with Nautique quality, and pointed nose would be something that might bring me back to the fold.

I'm pretty sure that's Shuan Murray driving at that time. I see some resemblance...

I was hoping for something less expensive than the GS but this is basically the same price as the GS24. Sucks for us "poors". I guess Correct Craft doesn't see any value in the lower end of the market for Nautique and will focus that on Supreme or Centurion.

I was really hoping to love this. Currently looking to move to a G because my current 230 lacks some storage when I fill the lockers with bags. Unfortunately the storage here looks a bit wonky….

I can see this being really sweet once they get a year or two into production. Good on Nautique for keeping a traditional bow in the lineup though!

I honestly don't see the appeal. This thing is barely more pointy than a G. What does this buy you over a G23 other than being slightly cheaper? Distinction without a difference imo.

Im not sure where you saw the 143k base price, I see 154k base, I just built one out of curiosity and it came in at 193k relatively well equipped.
