22 G23 telescoping tower height on trailer and travel/mooring cover

Does anyone have any intel on the height on the new telescoping tower down on a boatmate trailer?
also there doesnt seem to be a specific travel/mooring cover on DYN when selecting the teletower - does anyone know if the cover for the G tele will be over the Bimini like the P tele road cover?

I’m not sure about the height of the tower, but was told the 2022 G with telescoping tower was an under the tower cover and not like the Paragon. Was hoping for the over tower but doesn’t look like it’s an option.

Have your dealer order it with the P cover, should fit... unless the tower doesn't go down as far as the Paragon tower (they are different)? Not sure about the overall height either but would guess it's under 10' like the Paragon.

All....I think remember someone saying the 2022 telescoping tower sits 4" higher than the Paragon tower when in the "Lowered" position. I may be off on the number. I'll try to find that post. Remember...the Paragon is in three sections....the G is only two.....

Ahhh, if in fact it is 4" taller than the Paragon with the tower down then the cover likely won't fit. The over the tower cover is certainly nice though, but is heavy and when I had to put it on in 20+ mph winds last time that was an adventure.

Do you think If the cover doesn’t go over the tower like the p - will the Bimini have to be taken off so doesn’t get damaged with the additional wind/weather loads produce whole freeway towing?
can it be removed from the frame?

Just ordered my ‘22 G. My dealer told me that from the bottom of the prop to the top of the telescoping tower when down it is 9’1”. I have a 10’ garage door so I went with the manual tower, which goes lower. That’s on 15” boat mate trailer wheels.

I have towed my P23 with the Bimini cover on up to 70 mph with no issues, dealer didn't suggest removing it and I didn't ask, but I don't think it would be too difficult to remove if you wanted to. If I were towing long distance I think I would remove it, but short tows I'm not going to bother.

thanks for the intel guys - my garage opening is 10-1/2' so sounds like it gunna pretty bloody tight..... we regularly travel a few hrs to different lakes so would like to know more about the practicality of removing the Bimini - how is this attached to the frame - Zip , straps or domes ?
                  got any pics?

There was another thread on here somewhere discussing cover options for these boats. I believe Jeff pointed out that the telescoping tower can be configured with over or under tower covers, just confirm with your dealer.

You shouldn't have to remove the bimini to trailer. Considering the bimini is always deployed that would be super inconvenient to have to remove whenever you are towing.

The new G boats do not have a way to un-deploy the bimini? From a distance, it looks the same as my 2016, which would fold into a middle section and then have a cover over it for high speed towing.

Sorry should have been more clear. The Bimini on the telescoping tower is always fully deployed I believe. No option to fold in like the prior generation.

if the road cover doesnt extend completely over the G tele like the P - shouldn't they offer a specific cover for the bimini like the folding option .as without ,Bimini would surely get damaged when towing at highway speeds?
