No weight in my boat’s bow. The nose of the P23 and 25 rides lower than the old G boats (no matter the NCRS tweaking) Our dealer (the largest volume dealer in the US) and I have discussed this numerous times. In fairness, the roller has to be decent sized/wind against the bow, etc. Regardless, it didn’t happen in the G. When I am in heavy traffic heading down or up our river and can’t give the boat enough throttle to pick the nose up because of the slower boats ahead and no room to overtake, the chop from all of the boats
has a high chance of resulting in water in my bow. Again, this is a river…

Coming from my last boat (2007 Supra 24 SSV) with a really low bow, I guess I just learned some habits that will not die easily. Even with the much higher freeboard of the P23 compared to the Supra, I still focus on avoiding rollers directly into the bow, as yes it's possible to take water over that edge. This is one of my favorite features of the thruster, it allows me to turn broadside to the rollers (huge ones on Texoma from the cruisers) and keep the deck dry.

I’m with Greg here…. I haven’t noticed bow wave into P boat, but remember a few in pre 20 G’s.
But, I suppose if you tried you could drive a bow wave into anything…..
