I have consistently heard the A22 and A24, even over the “higher end Malibu’s.” Makes me want to get behind one.

Im a wakeboarder. If i couldnt have/ride a G23, a Supra SA, SE or SL is 100% the way to go.
The supra wakes are nearly identical to G23. I say they are meatier and a little bigger, with a little less firmness in the lip.

The G23 is easier to weight and get perfect. Supra a little more finnicky.

I’ll throw in a vote for the Supra SL. I primarily wakeboard, bought an SL this year because I got screwed around on a G23 sale and then there were none available. Wakeboard wake is every bit as good as my old G. I’d keep the Supra if it weren’t for the fit and finish. The price point is just too close to a G for me to be happy with it.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Supra SL (from a wakeboard standpoint). I wakeboard/wakesurf about a 50:50 split. Though I lean back toward wakeboarding a little every day. My biggest problem with the SL was the surf wave was terrible. I had just demoed an X24 an hour before (no additional weight over stock) and it really was a killer wave. Then I went to the Supra and it was terrible. I was very disappointed. I know you can add a ton of weight to make it better but stock wasn’t good. Are you adding additional weight over stock to get a good wakeboard wave?

I surf at a very mediocre level, mostly because I find it boring. The SL has a plenty good enough wave for me. For the wakeboard wake I usually have a crew of 5-6 plus a few 50lbs of lead just to level things out. I run full ballast, 23mph, and 75ft line. I can do all the basic inverts, I suck at spins but that has nothing to do with the wake. Unless you’re planning on going pro or you only ride with 1-2 people the stock wake is plenty big.
