Pink stains on vinyl

I know pink stains on vinyl was talked about a few years ago. I found this article in a friends power boat magazine. See photo for article. They have a product and process to resolve the issue.

I was fighting with a couple spots years back and found the web site for Pink Away. It was super expensive at the time. Their web site has been refreshed here.....

It looks like someone has bought the original company or at least the product. I did a quick test on cost and it's quite a bit less than it was before. I used 20 square inches as the target area which required 3 cartridges and the cost was $147 or about $50 a cartridge. I recall it being about triple that some 7 years ago when I looked at it. I also saw somewhere that a company was using ultraviolet light of some sort to do the same process. I have no idea if either of these methods actually work but hope the do.
