PN, Adam with SWELL Wakesurf,
We purchased a 2021 G23 and received delivery in March '21. Awesome boat and super happy with it, we usually ran 800 lbs of lead last summer to get the wave dialed in and perfect. Once Nautique launched the 2022 G23 and its supplemental ballast option, we were bummed.
We spent July and August taking our G23 apart and trying to find a way to add a additional ballast to it.
Our Criteria Was:
Our 4th version was a winner, we pulled out the stock bags, designed a bag with Fatsac's help to fully fill the entire subfloor cavity, and utilized the existing plumbing. This system will fill up to stock levels and the pumps turn off, this is the stock level and works great. If you have a smaller crew and want to use the additional ballast, just go into your ballast settings and hit fill on both rear pumps until it overflows and you have a total of 3,900 lbs of rear ballast, for a total ballast capacity of 5,250! Draining will work the same, if using the supplemental ballast you will need to hit drain in the linc to completely drain the bags.
We had a few more challenges to overcome as Nautique wasn't interested in selling us their OEM ballast fittings that are glued into the OEM bags, we also needed to design a new fitting for the vents. We went ahead and designed the fittings we needed and were fortunate to find a supplier to manufacture them!
We've wrapped up the package and are happy to offer it to you guys to get your 2021 G23's upgraded like ours is!
This is a plug and play system, you will remove your stock rear subfloor Fatsac bags, and replace them with the upgraded Fatsac bags. All fittings are glued in just like the factory and includes everything you need to get it installed.
We expect this project to take 1-2 hours per side of the boat and requires just a few simple hand tools. If you live near us in MN and aren't interested in tackling it, we'd be happy to do it for you.
Hit me up with any questions, also wanted to offer the first 5 people a $150 discount with code: SWELLG23

We spent July and August taking our G23 apart and trying to find a way to add a additional ballast to it.
Our Criteria Was:
- Has to be subfloor, we don't want anyone to lose storage
- Fills and drains easily and completely
- Easy to install, for us that meant no additional pumps
