Tips/tricks for buying a new Nautique

I tried searching for a similar post so forgive me if I missed it. I’m looking at buying my first new Nautique. Any tips or tricks when working with the dealer? We have a great dealership nearby and I have several friends who have had great experiences.

how much can you expect to get off MSRP? The boat I’m looking at (2022 GS22) has an MSRP of about 190k but after the discounts, adjustments ect its selling for about 153k. Will they come down lower than this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

doubt you will get it for any less than that. that is probably a decent deal. nearly 20% off

Yea, if you're getting nearly 20% off that's pretty excellent. Before you get too excited and jump on it, CLOSELY examine the list of options and compare it to what was available for that boat. It's easy to look at that shiny new boat on the showroom floor and say "Oh this is perfect" only to realize six months later you really wish it had a heater. Or heated seats.

Ouch, have prices on new boats gone up that much? My fully loaded 2020 GS22 was $150 MSRP.

Yeah, and I paid $90K for my loaded 2015 230. The replacement cost has doubled in 7 years. Crazy times.

OK. I guess that's how Nautique is positioning it but I really consider the 210/230 to just be over. The S21/23 really doesn't replace them.

I knew just as soon as I posted that that you’d be the one correcting my “malfeasance”… If you don’t have G money and you prefer surfing like 90% of us… it IS the replacement.

That seems pretty fair in this current market. I spec'd an S23 212 MSRP, dealer offered 192K. I countered lower, but dealer said that was their bottom line.
