Boat delivery dates

Hello! I ordered a G23 in October and still waiting on a delivery date. It was supposed to be a March/April delivery but they are not giving me any solid dates and I am starting to get nervous. This week I was supposed to get a solid date and no luck. Is anyone else experiencing the same issues??? Thanks!

There are a lot of variables here, what options did you order? Did you order anything with Tungsten Grey color on the gel coat? I assume it's your dealer that you're talking to that isn't giving you the date?

No tungsten Gray. Here is my build sheet. Yes, I am communicating with my dealer at this point.

Cosurfer.....not sure if this runs on the same schedule....but I ordered my 2021 G23 during Covid on Oct 10th 2020....and it showed up at the dealer on April 13th. 2021. It's worth the extra wait for sure. 2019 G is Good....2022 G will be great !!!

The big thing is to get a spray date, which is different from a delivery date, but is the first step towards delivery. Once they spray the boat it is going to move through the chain. Until they spray the boat there is no boat to move through the chain. Pin them down and ask directly if you have an allocated slot for a spray date. If they don't have an allocated slot for a spray date for you, then don't hold your breath you are not getting a boat anytime soon. If they have an allocated slot and the spray date is getting delayed, this could be due to supply chain issues on the specific parts for the boat you ordered. Frustrating, but not the dealer's fault.

Something seems fishy. I have been reading that boats are getting delivered in a few months? I do think it depends on when your dealer had the build slot…Q1, Q2, Q3, etc.

Agree with Alan12. Very odd. It's a bit of a black box to me (and I am sure others know more), but it depends on the build slot. We ordered our G23 the first week of November 2021 and it was delivered the last week of January 2022 to the dealer (we had their first build slot of Q3, which was a spray date of ~mid-late December). When we placed the order, we made sure the dealer was selling us an actual build slot as I had seen on this site and other boat brand's forums that dealers were selling boats without actually having a build slot available.

From what I've come to understand is that Nautique is catching up, once the boat is sprayed in the mold, its about 10-14 days to completion with the new facility up and running. Id get an answer from your dealer or email Nautique directly on where you are in the que for a spray date and what Quarter your build date fell in.
have you been affected by the price increases? I ordered mine in Jan 21, it showed up Feb 22 so don't feel bad. I waited on tungsten to be available.

Thanks and I read your post string and glad to hear you finally got yours! I am still waiting to hear back from my dealer. Which email at Nautique did you contact?

The dealer is telling me I got my order in before the price change.

I got my order in December for a April/may build slot. I just got the call that my completion date will be may 6th. It seems they are doing a good job of running true to the original build slot I had.

I went right on the Nautique website and went to the contact page. they emailed my dealer within 4 hours.

I contacted the head of sales for Nautique and then my dealer called me that day with a delivery date of mid June. I told them that wasn't going to fly and they got it moved up to a late April completion. Supposedly this is a solid date from Nautique. Thanks for all the advice.

Nice! Glad it got figured out. October order date would be a Jan delivery based on what I have read. Not sure how October to June makes sense. Regardless…April is good!

Cosurfer did they say anything about a price increase? I was just informed by my dealer I have to pay $20K more than the price quoted on our build sheet last November.
