Looking for info on Xtreme Heaters

Looking for some recommendations from those of you using an Xtreme Heater - Is the 300 watt sufficient for a GS22 or should I go up to the 450 watt to have a little extra power?
I live near Knoxville so the winters aren’t extremely cold and they say 300 watts is enough for a 24’ boat but I don’t want to risk having a heater that struggles to keep up on cold days.

I used the smallest one in a 230 this year and it worked just fine. It helps if you keep the cover on the boat. I kept a remote thermometer in the engine compartment, and even with the small heater, once it kicked on, the temperature rose quickly. Mine kicked on at about 46 degrees and off at about 60 or so, but my thermometer was mounted pretty high.

I have been using this thermometer for the past few years and I have been extremely happy with it. It connects to WIFI and reports to your phone. It can even alert you if certain thresholds are met. For $36, you can't go wrong!
