Search "excel and wake" and you'll have your answer.

I had a 92 Barefoot. Same as an Excel. The boat has a great boarding wake, even pretty good unweighted. I had 210# under the bow and ran two fat sacs in the lockers. The only thing that is a drawback to the boat is the single skeg makes it handle a little poorer, especially when heavily weighted. Still a great boat, loved it every minute of the five plus years I had it. By far the best wake of the pre wakeboard boat era is the 1989 2001. First year of the gear reduction tranny. The wake of the 89 still blows away a lot of the modern boarding boats.
