Ok, so i am new to planettnautique, and nautiques in general. I pick up my 2006 210 team this week! i cant wait. My question is this. Will a 06 210 fit in a 7ft high, 8.5ft wide and 22ft deep garage. It sits on a ramlin trailer. I will be removing the swim deck, folding the tongue, and folding the tower. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris Weber

RE: Garage Clearance question
yeah, i kinda figured that, i am actuallt more worried about the height. I dont know 7ft. is high enough. i can angle the boat a little in the garage to fix the depth problem. it is a 3 car garage with 3 individual openings.

Is the width going to clear the trailer? Up here in the NW/Seattle, most of our single door gararges are 8 ft, and if you go custom can get 9 ft width. I know our 196 won't clear width wise our 8 ft door. Good luck! We have a 3 bay garage (dbl door+1), 22 ft deep, and I can get our 196 in the dbl door at a slight angle, remove platform and swing-away tongue, and she fits with the 2500 Ram in one side, Pathfinder in the other!

22' should fit but it is close. Did you measure your garage to be 22' or is that what your built. What I'm trying to say is garages are built on outside dimmensions. A 22' garage is usually 21' to 21'4". I would be worried about the width. I went 10' wide so I can back it in late at night. I know it won't fit in a 8' garage door.2016 SAN 210

I measured it to 22' of useable depth. Also, i have exactly 8.5ft width and 7ft of height. It sounds like it will fit, it will just be a little bit of work. But like taz said, its better than having a 50k boat parked outside. Thanks for all the replys. Chris

Chris if you search on dollies you will see my 2000 196. It fits in a 21.5" garage with the swim platform removed and the swing tongue. I put i on 4 wheel dollies and it lets me push it around to get every last inch if space in. You could do it after you back the tower in through the door.Nautiqueless in San Diego

I'm in the same predicament. I have a 7' door (6'11" with trim). I'm about ready to do the deal but it has to fit in the garage. It'd be nice if I could just back it in with the truck instead of having to push it in by hand.
The dealer is going to let me take it home to check it. I hope it fits without too much effort.
Who else has dealt with this?
Some of the things that might work:
-Make sure garage door is all the way up.
-Low hitch on truck. I'm lucky here because my driveway is about 4" lower than my garage floor. Add that to the drop hitch on the pickup and the tongue should be good and low
-Dig concrete down where the tires will sit. Not ideal but doable.
-Lower profile tires.
-Move the trailer in the last few feet by hand. This might help:

His 211 is probably on a ramlin trailer. I didnt know it, until someone told me, but ramlin mounts its bunks right on top of the trailer frame, eliminating some of the height of a normal bunk system. Maybe you could get your dealer to get you a ramlin instead if needed???? And one person SHOULD be able to take the platform off. I would be more concerned with folding the tower. I dont know about the 211, but on my new 210 it took 3 of us to lower it. No more putting the boat away by myself late at night!!
