Why did you pick S21/23 vs G?

I was in the market for an S23 and started looking in the fall. The ones I built on the website with telescoping tower and most boxes checked were around 200,000 range. Fast forward to now and I built the same boat today for 218,000. That is before trailer, freight, and prep. I really like the S series, but there are used 2020 G's for 185-220 and used 2021 G's 200-240. I understand they are used, but well taken care of and still under warranty. With the G you get more space, hinged bow seats, in floor cooler versus under the seat, and probably some other differences. Just wondering what appealed to you on the S?

Was it a new model? Not a fan of the G boats? Features in the S you like better? Just curious.

For the same price, I would take a 2021 G over an S23. I was having a look at the S series in the showroom, it's a good quality product. However, the G is a much better boat

Agree with Proedge, the S wave is really good, but the storage, lack of drive by wire, and overall style is much nicer in the G, nothing wrong with a few year old G at all! Esp a 2021 with the new hull

I liked the look of the S, was confident I could get on before summer, and was happy to save ~$30k. This is the first weekend we’ll really get to work the boat, but so far I have absolutely no regrets.

Drive by wire would be a nice upgrade, I will admit.

Surf Keowee, glad to hear you got your boat in time for summer. I really like Keowee, one of my favorite lakes. I liked the S21/23 demo’d both. Wish the bow seats were hinged and I really like in floor coolers.

Bought my S23 for $180K. Does not have telescoping tower and went with the 400 instead of the 475. I love the boat and didn't want to spend the extra $40K to get into a G23.

Did you get the thruster option?

N901 Thruster and G only way to go . If not you will always be saying wonder what a G would be like if you bought another model . Just saying

Ya I know. The dealer just sold a G I was looking at. I was hesitating because it didn’t have the supplemental ballast option. Oh well

Good lawd, $180k for a boat with the ZR4.

I'd get the used G if you have the truck to pull it or the lift to hold it.
