The dealer I was working with only was offering around 8% last fall. I got into a Supra SL at 16%. Saved me 40k over the S23 and the SL is much more comparable to the G23 size and feature wise. The dealer is also much better experience so far than Nautique. Sadly, I really really wanted to go Nautique, but I think this Supra is going to be better for my personal situation. I’ll let you know if I like it/made the right choice. I guess time will tell.

The Supra SL is compelling. Their standard features are comparable to loaded Nautique. They have different surf wave mechanisms, so I'm not sure how they compare head to head but they both make giant waves. Supra features I liked more (besides sticker price) - surf locker at transom, more standard ballast, chill tech vinyl, auto leveling, and steer assist control on shifter knob handle. Nautique features I like more - walk through transom, tower that lowers instead of folds, winterizing ease, resale value.

I really like the telescoping tower, but I also like the ability in the Supra to cover the tower when it is down. I know the P towers go a little lower and have an over tower option. Maybe the G and S towers will get modified or the cover will get modified so there is an over tower cover option.
Shamsra I do like the transom storage locker. I also like the floor cooler on the Supra. I was comparing Supra to the S series so the in floor cooler was a big plus. I also really like the design in the bow with arm rests and a walkway that can be a wind screen/play pen or walk through with a removable/movable seat. I also wasn't impressed that the bow seats in the S series are not on hinges. That is sad in my opinion at that price point and it just doesn't seem to match the feel of the rest of the boat. Just my take aways.
If I could have gotten the pricing right I still would have been in a Nautique. But I think the demand was so high that there was no incentive for Nautique to work with me on price. They still sold all their build slots and floor stock at the dealer I was working with as far as I know.

We won't be trading in this year, it's just nuts.
There is so little throughput from the factory right now that Porsche is getting FULL MSRP and Dealers are extracting huge ADM's because their inventory is so tight. It's certainly a seller's market out there for luxury goods at the moment, so keep what you've got since thankfully the secondary market us also crazy high at the moment

Thanks Jeff that is good information to know about the tower and cover.
North Woody, I know it isn't the same class at all but my wife and I were recently shopping Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride last month and all the dealers had fees 3995 to 10000 above MSRP for "market adjustments"

G25 with 450 engine 226300. I thought the S series was supposed to be a gap between the G and the GS series. When you spec it out its basically a G with a lot less features and a pointy (traditional) bow without very much cost difference ~5%. Really would have liked to go the S route, but the pricing is insane.

Yeah, that might be but I'm thinking there are only going to be so many of those and the discounts are going to be substantial. Covid pricing where I live is over and there's a lot sitting on FBMP that are not moving. And this is the hot time of the season. Tommy's is going out of business and the dealers I talk to are sitting on inventory from last year. If things don't get better soon you're going to see some really big price cuts coming.
