My boat has been a nightmare.

Brand new g23 Nautique with a Yanmar engine.

    Not fun.

That's us getting a tow back to the lift. Brutal man this thing has had a lot of stupid issues. The main ones being the telematics computer and a constant oil leak. Really annoying.

all diesels leak oil just gotta get used to it
Really frustrating though, feel bad for you. Spending that much money on a brand new boat and having issues, can't be fun

Is that really true? Like a brand new diesel truck would leak on your driveway?

No, old ones do, just like old Harley’s, but a 2022 engine of any type should not leak. I have 2 diesel trucks that get replaced every 2 years and none of them leak oil.

That’s terrible. I’m pretty unhappy with Nautique QC right now. Both my neighbor and I have new GS22’s with multiple issues but nothing as bad as this.

I'm sorry but no they don't. I own diesel trucks, excavators, cranes, multiple pieces of heavy equipment and have for over 20 years. All of them have Diesels. Diesels do not leak oil just because they're diesels. A brand new diesel should not leak.. especially a boat.

Not sure I would want anything built from 2020 onwards. The covid boat rush, chip shortages, labor issues, rushing to build as many as possible to capitalize on the buying frenzy, etc. All makes for garbage product when it comes to quality.

I'm feeling better and better about my 2016 without linc with all the stories on these sites about screens costing $7K - $10K. I get the feeling these multiple display boats are going to be a real headache once the warranty runs out.

Well, they took it out of the water, of course they couldn't find a problem they drove it for 1.5 hours no issue. So it's out they're going to replace a wire hardness or something.

I was joking, of course it should not leak.

Well there you go, it was user error or you imagined the whole thing..... just kidding of course. This is the problem with multiple complex system engineered into any man made device. Lots of room for issues. Hopefully the wiring harness will resolve the issue for you. Not so sure that will fix the engine leak though.
