Winterization - take off swim platform?

Hello,

Do most of the dealers take off the swim platform when they winterize?

Did they also store it for you? If so they might do that to maximize space in their storage area. But no, there’s no good reason to remove a platform when winterizing.

We take all the platforms off we do, once their in the storage unit. We do it to save space. Many places that provide storage indoors do so by the foot and if the platform's on you're paying for that footage as well. Same goes for the trailer. We fold the trailer tongue as well once in the barn to save space.
