2022 G23 Supplemental Ballast

We've had the same issue on our 2022 G23 with supplemental and our 2023 P25 with supplemental. Dealer can't fix it.

Neither can Nautique. Entire steering system replaced. Didn't work. They had my boat in Orlando all winter and couldn't figure it out. They know they have a handful of boats with this problem.

My completely layman's opinion is a software bug they can't find, only present in some boats.

I had this issue on my 21 p23…until steering went out completely

1st I greased the 4 zerk fittings at the back of the boat, this really loosened up the steering effort with the boat off

Next I found a fuse next to the power steering (removed panel under dash) had blown….so I replaced it

then I calibrated the power steering

since, it’s extremely easy to turn and no issues

I have a theory that no one is greasing the steering at the back of the boat, it gets sticky and the power steering quits when it gets too much load
