    Ramlin Trailer Question

Anyone have any tips for pulling the orange pin out on a swing tongue ramlin trailer? That thing doesn't want to move, I can't believe that you'd have to pound on it everytime you want to swing the tongue back or put the pin back in.

Yep. Pain in the a$$. We had to pound our out. The only thing I can think of is you have to keep it well lubed.

      hmmm ... ours works flawlessly.
Check to see that all the holes line up properly. You may have to open up one of the holes that the pin goes through with a round file or dremel. Also make sure the pin and holes are clean. A little grease on the pin doesn't hurt either.

Mine is greased but requires a lever arm (like an end wrench) to twist it back and forth a few times before it comes loose.

Ours works fine too. Maybe the paint makes the difference. Can you file the hole a bit?

I usually need to lift the front end of the tongue to take the pressure off the pin...otherwise it comes out fine.

I had the same problem with my pin. After I beat it out, I got a new pin. The new pin works much better. I would go to your dealer and get a new pin to see if that takes care of your problem.
                Good luck
