Alert: Suspicious Emails from Nautique -re Survey

I have been getting multiple SPAM/phishing emails disguised as coming from Nautique corporate. They appear to be owner surveys.

Be aware, and immediately delete. Although I have no such knowledge, these emails are typically the result of a corporate hack.

Probably intercepted by filters. My two were from member@outbound.research.net and title was "Nautique Owner: We would like your opinion"

I received one yesterday morning. It looked almost identical to the Nautique survey I have received in the past.

Ok, I just got a call from Nautique about this.

They ARE in the middle of doing owner's surveys, so most of these e-mails are likely legitimate e-mails sent by Nautique's marketing partners. There is no indication of any sort of corporate hack or anything like that. They are reaching out to customers who have purchased boats over the last few years, so if you fit this category, it is likely that you will receive a survey. Please fill it out and make your thoughts known to Nautique about their products.

I have received a few of these over the course of a year, and called my local dealer - who said that was the company Nautiques uses..

Interjon, you were right to be suspicious. You have to be very careful about anything you click on these days. Now that we know it's safe, please join me in letting Nautique know that their new boat prices have offended the sensibilities of reasonable luxury boat purchasers and even recent Nautique boat owners. It would be refreshing to see their leadership in restoring some sanity in the system instead of seizing the opportunity to exploit these inflationary times to extract every dollar possible. Come on man.

I guess one benefit of having an old boat is that you don't get these marketing surveys.

Received a survey as well and it is/was legit. Nothing particularly intrusive about it either other than asking an income bracket, which is to be expected.

I'd imagine they're trying to figure out what the inflection point is where people lose the appetite to buy a Ferrari priced new boat because, when placed against the one I got a couple years ago, this one was asking what would *stop* me from buying a new boat from them as opposed to what I wanted in their new line of boats.
